This historical 1921 house in downtown Burlington was full of old-world charm. Our clients did an amazing job of maintaining the character of the home and mixing the old with new. They updated what needed to be changed while maintaining some original features that showcase the charm and classic beauty of their home.

The scope of work included the removal of a load bearing wall and a totally redesigned open concept kitchen. Our clients collaborated with kitchen designer Jamie, and after proposing a few different layouts including an island option in the centre of the space,  it was ultimately determined a peninsula was the best option to maximize cabinet and counter space.

From the custom hardwood floors, to the mix of finishes showcased in the matte black windows and doors, the fresh white cabinets and quartz countertops were a beautiful backdrop that allowed the brass accents in the lighting and hardware to shine through.

It was delightful to see how much these clients enjoyed the process of their renovation that they even featured their own Instagram page that hi-lighted their journey of renovating their new home. Thank you @bricksandbrass for allowing us to be a part of your project, we are forever grateful to have the opportunity to work with you!
