I am pleased to share two fabulous projects we did for a mother and daughter living in separate homes in the same neighbourhood in Mississauga.  Marg has lived in her home for 24 years and while she wanted to make changes to her main floor, she didn’t know where to start and couldn’t imagine how it would turn out. In 2017 Marg’s daughter Laura bought a home near her with a plan to renovate it from top to bottom.  Marg saw her daughter’s open concept vision, progress from demolition to completion and fell in love with the finished product. It was the inspiration she needed to start working on similar changes in her own home.

Marg was particularly fond of the Benjamin Moore Hale Navy colour that Laura choose for her island.  She did however opt for a different blue from Benjamin Moore called Old Navy.  The perimeter colour in both of their kitchens is Chantilly Lace, which is quickly replacing Cloud White as the standard trim colour in homes.

Laura did the upfront work two years ago by interviewing three kitchen companies for her renovation and chose to work with The Wright Kitchen. Marg and Laura also used Architect Robyn Huether (robynhuether.com) for the overall design and engineering plans, and Hicks Contracting for the construction.  Both companies were extremely organized, detail oriented and a pleasure to work with.  With the combination of creative vision, thoughtful design and quality execution, these two projects were a success and the end result is everything these two families wanted.

Thank you, Marg and Laura, for trusting me and the entire team at The Wright Kitchen.
